AEON Bakery School
History
The ABS located at Metro Prima, Kepong has been established as a certified training centre by Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) since 2018. The objectives of its establishment are; 1. To be able to sustain the manpower support in line with rapid expansion in Food line department. 2. To be able to sustain the business in the market should there be consistency products produce by the skillful staff. 3. To be able to create our in-house talents through AEON culture and AEON DNA rather than depending from external sources. The school apprentices are combination of AEON staff and external staff whom have highly passion about making baking as one of the ways of their career life. Their education background varies from one to another which could be as low as PMR/PT3 and up to degree level. What matters us most are the passion towards the skills that we offered, cheerful, good in communication and also the active team player in school.
AEON Delica School
History
This is the second school under the umbrella of AEON Skills Training Center, Metro Prima Kepong which the program is focusing on cooking courses for 8 months which consists of two and a half months (2 ½) OFF JOB TRAINING and remaining balance will be ON JOB TRAINING at certified stores (AEON Mid Valley, AEON Bandar Utama. AEON Shah Alam, AEON Bandar Puchong and AEON Bandar Sunway). The objectives of its establishment are the same like AEON Bakery School; 1. To be able to sustain the manpower support in line with rapid expansion in Food line department. 2. To be able to sustain the business in the market should there be consistency products produce by the skillful staff. 3. To be able to create our in-house talents through AEON culture and AEON DNA rather than depending from external sources. The program has commenced through its first intake on last 01/10/19. The first batch consists of 4 internal and 19 external apprentices from various educational background and states.
Join Us!
AEON open education opportunity for internal staffs and external peoples whom interested in skills sectors. AEON set up with some criteria for the students whom interested to join the Bakery and Delica school.
Internal staff whom interested to continue the education and career development with company, must fulfilled following requirements ab below:-
• Age between 18 to 35 years
• Minimum education PMR/SPM
• Work with AEON more then 6 months and above
• Passioned in skills studies
• Able to mobile to study and work to any of the outlets of AEON
• Must be a cheerful character, able to communicate and work with team
Internal staffs can apply with fill up internal transfer form which can get from store HR and MUST agreed by store manager and send to HR HQ and wait for the 1st level filtration and will call for the interview, the staffs whom done well will become part of ASTC family.
